One Book, One City: Gardens & Gardening
Join us as we explore the importance of gardens and how they changed in war time England, as described in Maisie Dobbs. Author and UC Master Gardener Julie Bawden-Davis (Flower Gardening) brings us her expertise with edible and other types of flowers popular in that era. Period attire is greatly encouraged (think Hats!). Garden party delicacies and refreshments will be served.
Saturday, March 30, 2013
Location: Library Community Room
Event starts at 2:00pm
