One Book, One City: Downton Abbey Gala
Come shake off the Downton Abbey blues at the kickoff gala for our One Book One City selection, Maisie Dobbs! Engage in a trivia contest, sample tasty treats, and learn about life and social changes in post World War I Britain from historian Gayle Brunelle (author of Murder in the Metro) as we celebrate our heroine and her time period. Desserts, prizes and good cheer it will be a guinea a minute! Dress in your own Downton Abbey attire or come as you are.
